Launch Virtual Desktop and make sure to uncheck the fullscreen option. Put the Rift on. Launch Assetto Corsa as you normally would. Go to video settings and select Oculus Rift as the rendering mode. select the 1920x1080@75 resolution you created earlier and uncheck Fullscreen rendering. When you start a race, drag the "Asseto Corsa" window from
First thing I did was downgrade to Windows 10. You can't keep any of your data, but my computer now runs Assetto in max settings at 160 FPS on screen and 40 FPS in VR. Still messing with settings so the Oculus Quest 2 looks good. That's the part I'm struggling with since all the advice I'm finding for it is for Assetto Corsa Competizione .
Assetto Corsa - enable post-processing effects and turn down exposure in game (PgDn) Those post-processing effects make the game look good (if your card can handle it). But the default exposure level makes everything washed-out in VR. Now, do enable those effecs, and when sitting in the car, simply turn down the exposure by Page Down key and it
View reset in VR. I've just started out with Assetto Corsa and play in VR, but am having some issues getting the view to reset. I've tried ctrl + space and when doing this my display rapidly flashes between in car view and the view I wish to reset from. I end up having to do this quite some time in the hope that when I let go, it'll be in car.

You can try lowering the SS settings in the steam app first, then lower draw distance, remove shadows (they look crap), remove heat simmering (nearly invisible effect that eats FPS for breakfast). You will find assetto optimisation guides for VR with a bit of googling. Get content manager, CSP and SOL if you can, they have more settings.
Assetto Corsa pledged Oculus Rift support from the beginning. After a shaky start with version 0.2 (plagued with z-Buffering issues in the right eye) 0.3 has just been released and promises to fix
If you don't click it then you can't run any ppfilters properly in VR, so something like pure won't work properly as you need a filter with a pure script for it to work. CSOCSO-FL • 7 mo. ago. That is completely false. I have my own pp filter with 10k+ downloads. That button does nothing else but separates pure config settings for screen and vr.
It certainly works with VD, so im thinking there is an underlying issue. as opposed to a VD issue. please clarify. Yeah, sorry was a bit rushed. Yeah , works normal with Link, Assetto runs normal in VD with stock launcher, but when running via Content manager it goes 2D, renderer is Oculus Rift, haven't tried with openVR and i'd rather stick to
As a side note, the issue is compounded when I have to restart CM due to custom button boxes not working at first so I have to restart more than I would just for the issue above. 3. 7 comments. When I had a quest with oculus link, I had to close SteamVR before every single launch of the game, and have the game launch it.
